Nice, France, July 25 – NFC World Congress is preparing to be at the centre stage of the near field communication business for 3 days, on September 17-19. Its agenda keeps being enriched thanks to new speakers and new NFC applications demos.

This is now over 70 speakers, all experts and leaders from contactless services, technologies and verticals that will share their experiences and insights on how to amplify the momentum of contactless services. In parallel of the conference, the exhibition will be a vibrant place to discover the latest NFC applications thanks to multiple demos sessions. Conference delegates will be also offered private tours to experience the commercial Cityzi services in Nice with the new Samsung Galaxy SIII

New speakers to join the conference:

- On the "Digital Agenda for Europe and e-Commerce" session: Martin Whitehead, Director of GSMA Europe and Ruth Milligan, Legal Advisor on Payment Systems, Eurocommerce

- Retail use case: EAT & Everything Everywhere will present UK's first mobile contactless retail reward -scheme. In the same, large retail companies such as Casino Group and PMU are also confirmed.

Live demos at the Exhibition

NFC World Congress 2012 also hosts also a larger, renewed showcase featuring all the market leaders, shared with the co-located Word e-ID Congress to maximise the synergies between contactless and digital identity markets. The exhibitors will make several demos each day. The first NFC demos unveiled are the following:

- AT4 wireless: a demo of the RIDER NFC test tool, the only NFC Forum approved test tool which covers all NFC Forum requirements in a single-instrument.

- DIAD_NFC: three NFC use-cases of access control, marketing and payment for Retail and a mobile purse.

- ISRA Cards: traffic real time information for the passengers and top up in mobility thanks to the combination of NFC smartphone and contactless card

- Morpho: a secure check-in at the Morpho's virtual airport terminal; train ticket ordering and train check-in both via mobile phone.

- Sony: NFC technology in conjunction with several healthcare devices embedded with NFC dynamic Tag along with NFC smart phones or PC with NFC reader.
