Telekom Romania's IT director Timos Tsokanis will be promoted and will take over the attributions of Bob Konstantinidis, the director for operations and technology of the group, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing market sources. Konstantinidis will leave the company, according Telecompaper. Tsokanis was recruited by Romtelecom in August 2010 for the IT director position. In 2013, when Nikolai Beckers named the first joint team for Romtelecom and Cosmotre Romania, Tsokanis was named director for both companies.
Romtelecom and Cosmote Romania officially entered the T family as of 12 September. Both Romtelecom and Cosmote communicate under the same brand, namely Telekom Romania, while their legal entities' names are Telekom Romania Communications (replacing Romtelecom) and Telekom Romania Mobile Communications (replacing Cosmote Romanian Mobile Telecommunications).
