Orange Romania launched a winter holiday promotion whereby customers are offered smartphones and tablets at no extra cost which they can offer as presents to loved ones, according Telecompaper. Until 2 February 2015, existing Orange customers receive a smartphone or tablet at no extra cost if they sign a second voice or internet subscription for 24 months. In addition, they can still purchase terminals at discounted prices for signing a single subscription. Also, all wearable gadgets are offered at a 20 percent discount to customers who sign a single subscription. As part of the promotion, those customers who opt for a Pantera or Cangur subscription as their second tariff plan can receive a smartphone as a gift.
The most affordable subscription is Cangur 7 and those who pick it receive the Orange Yomi smartphone as a gift. Starting with the Cangur 14 subscription, phones offered at no extra cost with the second subscription are 4G smartphones. The offer is also addressed to parents who want to offer a smartphone to their children as a gift. With this offer, parents receive the Alcatel Pop C3 at no cost along with a Fluture 8 subscription from the Junior offer.
Those who choose a mobile internet tariff plan as their second subscription receive a tablet or a 4G modem at no extra cost, depending on the chosen tariff plan. For example, customers who, in addition to another service, activate a subscription or extend a Colibri Explore 17 subscription for 24 months are offered the LG G Pad 8.0 at no additional cost.
