CeBIT Bilișim Eurasia opens door to world’s most dynamic market

 

- CeBIT Synergy Summit topics include cloud architecture, entrepreneurship, e-state and social responsibility 

 

Istanbul/Hannover. CeBIT Bilișim Eurasia will open the door to the world’s most rapidly expanding market from 29 November to 2 December at the CNR EXPO in Istanbul. CeBIT Bilișim Eurasia is Eurasia’s leading event for information and communications technology, attracting exhibitors from 21 countries and visitors from 85 countries, especially from the emerging markets of Southeast Europe, the Middle-East and the Black Sea region.  

 

“The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) projects the Turkish economy will grow 5.3%in 2012. Roughly one-third of the population uses 3G and, with 257 minutes average cell phone usage permonth, Turkey is ahead of Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and the UK,” said Andreas Luttmann, Vice President at Hannover Fairs International. “Turkey and Eurasia are clearly target markets for companies that want to export. CeBIT Bilișim Eurasia is the only event that attracts decision makers from the entire region,” added Luttmann.  

 

The CeBIT Bilișim Eurasia exhibit program is organized around four platforms – Pro, Life, Lab, and Gov – that cover the core sectors of the digital high tech industry and serve vertical industries ranging from education, healthcare and tourism to logistics, machinery and textiles.

- The Pro platform focuses on enterprise solutions

- Life brings together the latest digital trends for home and office 

- Lab is the technology transfer sector where universities and research

institutions meet with industry and investors

- Gov spotlights solutions for the public sector and mega cities 

 

CeBIT Synergy Summit and Special Programs  

The CeBIT Synergy Summit will take place in six halls at CeBIT Bilișim Eurasia and feature approximately 230 speakers. The summit consists of seminars, panels, conferences, and company presentations, and provides an educational and networking venue for trade professionals and business executives. Topics in 2012 include Banking and Finance; e-Government; R&D; Satellite and Communication Systems; Smart Life, Smart Cities and Urban Transformation; Social Media; and Social Responsibility. 

 

The special program “Smart Life” will showcase various IT projects related to future cities, including air pollution, communications, education, health, infrastructure, security, and transportation. CeBIT Bilișim Eurasia will also dedicate a thematic area to ERP software, where visitors can test the latest ERP solutions. Fatih Project, one of Turkey’s largest education projects, will participate in the trade fair and in seminars and conferences. Topics include Hardware and Software infrastructure; Provision and Management of Educational e-Content; and Education Tools and Technologies.
