With quarter three results now confirmed, Euroweb Romania can confirm forecasted revenue growth for 2012 – the first since 2008. Although the revenue growth rate is small in real terms at 4% (rising from 8.1 million to 8.4 million), the fact is significant given the high price erosion (approx. 20% year on year for existing revenue streams) within the Romanian Telecoms market. Further, this growth comes during the continuing economic crisis and instability within the Eurozone.

Stuart Evers (photo), Euroweb’s CEO stated: "We are delighted to be able to forecast revenue growth for the first time in four years. Given the hugely competitive Romanian market and the on-going price erosion we suffer, this revenue growth represents about 24% growth in real-terms, which is a fantastic achievement, especially given the economic climate we are operating in. I think anyone in the Telecoms industry will agree that growing revenue at this time – even modestly – is extremely difficult, if not impossible, so we are very proud of our achievement. A big thank you has to go to the entire Euroweb team, our partners – and above all, our customers."

The exceptional results obtained this year by the Romanian telecom player are the result of a change in strategy and management team. In this respect, Euroweb plans to be the customer leader in Romanian Telecom market, focusing on building a strong relation with its present customers and gaining new ones in its portfolio.
