The transition to IPv6 is something that has not only affected the business world but also involves our regulators. The scale of the transition means that governments from around the world need to keep up-to-date with the industry developments and do their part to facilitate the move to IPv6.

The IPv6 World Congress reflects this with the presence of some key figures such as Ed Vaizey the Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries in the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. The European Commission will also be represented by Jacques Babot and the U.S. Federal IPv6 Task Force Chief Engineer Ron Broersma will be speaking on behalf of the Defence Research and Engineering Network (DREN) and the Space and Naval Warfare System Command (SPAWAR).
