To be held between the dates 3-5 October 2011, ICT Summit Eurasia is aspiring to become an international convention of information and communication technology professionals, attracting audiences from all over Eurasia. With this vision in mind, the Summit management have decided to organize the "ICT Summit Eurasia Awards" to recognize successful cross-border projects that have been implemented by the ICT companies of the region, and award the contractors of such projects.

The main objective of the awards is to create an international platform where successful projects realized by and through mutual cooperation of the ICT system integrators of the region shall be publicly acknowledged, and cross-boarder collaboration efforts shall be praised and encouraged.

 

The applicant companies shall be classified into two categories as being either large-scale or medium-scale according to their annual revenues, and their applications will be evaluated according to the criteria explained in this document. For each category, the first three companies that receive the highest points will be presented with the "ICT Summit Eurasia Awards". In addition to the total of six awards for the large-scale and the medium-scale categories, one more award will be granted under the title "Special Award of the Jury". The award ceremony will be held on the 3rd of October 2011, to honor the representatives of the winning companies.

 

ICT Summit Eurasia Hosts John Parkins

American activist and author John Perkins, having led to a variety of discussions for the last 10 years with the books he wrote based on his experiences in the 1970s and 80s, is now one of the speakers in ICT Summit Eurasia – Bilișim Zirvesi ’11

 

Perkins is described as a "prophet of post-modern times", with a mission of alerting and awakening humanity against the organizations and tricks posed by global capitalism all over the world.
