Today, TDC is announcing a number of changes to its Corporate Management Team. Pernille Erenbjerg will join the team as the new Chief Financial Officer, and Anders Jensen, from Telenor, will take over as Head of TDC Consumer. TDC Wholesale will become a separate business unit headed by Eva Berneke, and finally, TDC has brought in Inger Ørum Kirk from DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) as the Group’s new Head of HR and Communications. The Corporate Management Team will then have nine members.
Henrik Poulsen (photo), TDC’s President and CEO, explains the changes:
"I want to bring fresh perspectives to a couple of our business areas while at the same time maintaining a flat management structure that allows Group management to be close to customers, employees and day-to-day operations. This will also maintain the fast decision-making processes required to compete in a market that is constantly moving and changing."
TDC’s CFO, Jesper Ovesen, has decided to leave TDC after just over three years with the Group. As of 1 May, Pernille Erenbjerg, who has been Executive Vice President of Financial Services for some years, will take over as Group Chief Financial Officer.
"Pernille Erenbjerg is the natural successor as CFO. Jesper, Pernille and I have worked closely together for the past few years, and Pernille is uniquely qualified and positioned to support TDC’s continued financial discipline and ability to create value for our shareholders," says Henrik Poulsen.
Carsten Dilling has been appointed as Group COO, Chief Operating Officer, and will in future take on a wider range of responsibilities for the Group’s operational development and performance.
At TDC Consumer Anders Jensen, who comes from Telenor, Hungary will step into Jesper Theill Eriksen’s position as Senior EVP. Anders Jensen has broad knowledge of the telecommunications sector obtained during several years in top management in markets as diverse as Sweden, Bangladesh and Hungary.
TDC Wholesale, which sells access to TDC’s network for external operators and is currently combined with TDC Operations, will in future become a separate business unit with Eva Berneke as Senior EVP.
