Orange SA announced on Monday 3rd of Octomber the appointment of Thierry Millett as Chief Commercial Officer of Orange Romania.
Thierry Millet (photo) has been with France Telecom since 1988, holding positions in IT, Sales and Distribution in France and Brazil, and more recently as Regional Sales Director of Pays de la Loire Unit of France Telecom, where he played a critical role in securing financial solidity, in challenging market conditions.
Yves Gauthier, Orange Romania'™s outgoing Chief Commercial Officer has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Orange Netherlands following a transfer period with Thierry to ensure a smooth and comprehensive handover.
Yves Gauthier held the post of Chief Commercial Officer of Orange Romania since 2001. During his tenure, Yves oversaw the successful introduction of the Orange brand in April 2002. The company has since grown to become the leading telecoms operator in Romania and one of the top five companies in Romania.
