Orange CEO Stephane Richard (photo) spoke to Masayohi Son, CEO of Japanese telecom group Softbank, about buying a stake in video sharing website Dailymotion, Challenges reports, citing someone familiar with the discussions, according Telecompaper. The talks were held during an Asian visit which also saw Richard speak about a similar move with Hong Kong's Hutchison Whampoa. Orange's press office said that Softbank is one of a number of companies to which it is speaking and that there was nothing concrete at present.
