Romania's Ministry of Communications and Information Society (MCSI) replaced three of the four people representing its interests in the board of Telekom Romania group in which the Romanian state holds a minority shareholding, according to local paper Ziarul Financiar. The changes were made by the new head of the ministry, Lucian Sova (photo), according Telecompaper. The new members of the board are Elena Patrascu, Corneliu Ioan Dimitriu and Catalin Panaite. The new minister only kept Raluca Ioana Purecel in the board. She has no experience in communications. The paper said it's unclear if the new BoD members named by the state have any telecom experience.
