Romania's Parliament appointed Eduard Lucian Lovin and Bogdan Cristian Iana as VPs of local telecommunications authority Ancom. The decision was published in the Official Gazette of Romania on 11 October. The two VPs' mandates last 6 years. Iana and Lovin have 20 and 18 years of experience in the electronic communications sector in Romania, according Telecompaper. They will report to Adrian Dita, the new head of Ancom and former director of Public Affairs at Telekom Romania. Dita took up the new role of Ancom president in May. In June, Dita conducted a so-called "shock reorganisation" during which nine people from the leadership team were moved to lower positions with lower salaries.
