Telekom Romania discreetly launched a postpaid add-on called 'Unlimited internet (Net nelimitat)' which comprises unlimited internet access at 4G/LTE speeds for new selected subscriptions and for extended or ported contracts from other networks, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing Telekom representatives. According to sales staff from a Telekom store, the add-on will soon be added to leaflets in Telekom stores. The offer was launched on 15 October and will be available over a period of three months. However, the operator plans to turn it into a central element of its promotional campaigns, hoping it will attract new customers and put an end to the decline in customer base after the 2014 rebranding.
It can be purchased by customers who have a Mobil 7, Mobil 7 without phone,10,12,13,15,17,20, and Mobil 25 tariff plans, according Telecompaper. The only limit imposed by Telekom are the resolution at which video content can be accessed, namely maximum 480p.
