UPC Romania aims to increase its number of Horizon customers to over 300,000 by the end of 2018 from 10,000 at present, UPC Romania and Hungary CEO, Robert Redeleanu (photo), told local paper Ziarul Financiar, according Telecompaper. At the end of September, UPC had approximately 630,000 customers of digital cable services. The cable company will add VoD to its Horizon platform next year to better compete with rivals Orrange, Telekom, RCS&RDS and Vodafone that already released this type of services.
