To mark the 10 years anniversary, Vodafone Romania announces special launches and promotions:
Starting today, Vodafone Romania extended 3G broadband '“ HSDPA services to all the 23 cities covered by the 3G network: Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Brasov, Iasi, Constanta, Craiova, Ploiesti, Sibiu, Oradea, Targu Mures, Arad, Pitesti, Galati, Braila, Satu Mare, Baia Mare, Bistrita, Bacau, Buzau, Alba Iulia, Turda and Deva.
Vodafone Romania rewards its customers for 10 years with a special promotion including free minutes on the network. Postpaid customers will be offered a total of 10 hours of free calls in the Vodafone network, to be used in the following 10 months, 1 hour per each month. Prepaid customers are being offered 100 minutes to be used in the following 10 months, 10 minutes per each month. The promotion is available after the bill cycle starting May 1st, 2007.
In addition, Vodafone Romania invites all its customers to join the 'Tens of Thousands, Day by Day' special promotion, launched on the occasion of the 10 years anniversary. Until July 12, 2007, Vodafone customers have the chance to win 10,000 USD every day and 100,000 USD at the end of every month, by simply sending an SMS to 777, at the tariff of 1 USD (VAT not included). Winners of the daily prizes, of 10,000 USD each, will be drawn at random on a daily basis. All Vodafone customers who enroll in the contest will also have the chance to be the lucky winners of the three monthly prizes of 100,000 USD each. After sending the SMS, Vodafone customers receive a registration code to be used for logging on www.vodafone.ro/pauzadejoaca, where users can play online games from the Vodafone collection.
