Bucharest, June 7, 2006 '“ Vodafone Romania launches Vodafone Passport, an unique roaming proposition that enables our customers to take their domestic price plan abroad for a one-time connection fee per call.

Vodafone Passport is an international roaming option that can be activated free of charge to the standard roaming service - Vodafone World. Vodafone Passport enables roamers to make calls at their domestic tariffs, with only a small connection fee per call, in a total of 19 Vodafone networks or preferred networks.
The connection fee is US $ 1.20 (without VAT) for the roamers using the 16 Vodafone Networks and Preferred Networks from Europe*. For Vodafone Australia, Vodafone Japan and Vodafone New Zeeland networks, the one-time connection fee is US$ 2.40 (without VAT).
Vodafone Passport delivers unbeatable value and substantial savings to Romanians traveling abroad. For example, a Vodafone Romania contract customer traveling to Spain who uses Vodafone Spain network will only pay US $1.76 for a 4 minutes call as compared to US $4.36 previously. This brings a saving of US $2.6 for this call only.
In addition, for received voice calls, the roamer only pays for the one-tine connection fee, for a call within 10 minutes length. The connection fee is charged at every 10 minutes of the call.
Starting today, our customers can ask to have the Vodafone Passport option activated, by calling *222. Vodafone Passport will be effectively available for our contract subscribers starting with June 22nd billing cycle. Vodafone Romania prepaid customers '“ Cartela Vodafone and Vodafone 2in1 users '“ can benefit from both Vodafone World and Vodafone Passport starting with July 12, 2006.
Vodafone Romania 3G customers can also benefit from the Vodafone Passport option for voice calls, when they travel abroad.
