Ericsson's CEO Hans Vestberg wrapped up his keynote speech at the 2012 International CES on January 11 by demonstrating new technology, so-called 'capacitive coupling'. His used an example in which a photograph was transferred from a telephone, then hand-to-hand, through the human body, to the large screen without using radio signals. 'Ultimately, we are the network', he said in describing the research project. It's still early days for the 'Connected Me' concept but the possibilities of this technology appear to be endless according to Ericsson's engineers.
